Employee Wellness Program
Our Facilitators Profile


LQE provides wellness program for companies and institutions in need.

This is to offer effective and appropriate health service for all employees in our client institutions. This is also to assist our clients to reduce workplace hazards on regular basis.

Our Wellness program covers the following

Awareness and Education
Using a collection of relevant informative materials, we host regular awareness programs at the client’s workplace. The employer(institution) is expected to release its employees in order for them to come to the spot where information and awareness is offered. Employees will get information materials as well as health talks.

Counselling
We intend to offer HIV related counselling for the clients’ employees. This is to assist in building a non-discriminative, non-stigma environment and thus contributing in health working environment. Counselling about importance of testing for HIV, positive living after HIV test result, adherence counselling, assisting clients who need to be on the Post Exposure Prophylaxis program.

Referrals
We refer clients who need medical attention to the medical experts of the client’s choice. We also refer clients therapists in case where counselling needed is not related to the type we offer.

Occupational Health and Safety
Offer workplace risk assessment and compile a report on behalf of the employer. Assist in recording and reporting workplace incidents

• Basics on Voluntary Counseling and Testing

• What happens at pre and post counseling

• Behaviors leading to risk of contracting HIV

• Prevention of Mother-to-child transmission of HIV

• What is Post Exposure Prophylaxis-treatment given to
those who fells they have been exposed to HIV including rape survivors

• The signs and symptoms of STIs and their treatment

• How Culture and Religions can influence the spread of HIV

• How to use male and female condoms

• The Impact of HIV at Socio-Economic aspects
